Save It for a Rainy Day Adventurous Things to Do During the Rainy Season

Summer is over! Hello, wet season!

The rainy season is the perfect time to explore and discover new things. There are many reasons why you should not let the rainy season stop you from exploring.

One of the reasons is that there are fewer people on the streets, which makes it easier to explore without being bothered by other people. The rain also makes everything look more beautiful and sometimes it even creates a romantic atmosphere for couples. The rain also adds a special touch to all your photos and videos, making them more unique and memorable.

The rainy season had begun in the Philippines. However, this should not deter you from exploring and traveling across our 7,640 lovely islands. Why? During the rainy season, prices are lower, airlines are on sale, hotels and resorts are at their lowest rates, and there are so many things to do! The rainy season is also the perfect time to go exploring and do things that require you to get wet. There are many activities that are best appreciated during the rainy season; here are some of my recommendations for locations to visit and things to do at this time of year. Even during the rainy season, It’s More Fun in the Philippines! An unforgettable adventure awaits.

Here’s for the adventure seekers out there. List of adventurous things to do during the wet season.

Ultimate Foodtrip

Eating-Out

Why not treat yourself to some of your favorite foods? You can have them delivered to your home from your favorite restaurant. You might also go restaurant hopping when you visit several restaurants in one location for a gourmet adventure of Filipino meals and cuisines influenced by a variety of flavors from across the world. It’s like traveling with your stomach in one location!

Self Love

Spa-day

Get a relaxing massage, a new manicure, and pedicure, a facial treatment, or simply unwind in the sauna. A spa visit will undoubtedly provide you with the best wellness and rejuvenation experience as well as the relaxation you deserve.

Hot Springs

Warm therapeutic waters make hot springs a popular visit, especially during the wet season. Enjoy a restorative dip in one of the country’s many hot spring resorts, where swimming is even more enjoyable during the rainy season!

Indoor Adventures

Indoor-Rock-Climbing

If the rain won’t stop, consider indoor sports like indoor climbing, indoor ball games, LazerXtreme, badminton, archery, and other recreational activities. You might even enroll in an online boxing class and work up a sweat from the comfort of your own home. These games are fun for the whole family and will definitely have you sweating even in the winter.

Surfing

Surfing

Surfing is best during the rainy season! During the monsoon season, or habagat season, which runs from October to January, surfers (both expert and novice) come to the country’s various surfing hotspots, including Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao! Visit one of the many surfing places in the Philippines, where riding the waves is an unforgettable experience!

Explore Waterfalls

Waterfalls

The rainy season is the finest time to view waterfalls because the water is at its most powerful. However, be selective in your waterfall visits. We strongly advise you to go to those that are easily accessible and do not require you to hike or trek through deep ravines. Also, be cautious while viewing a waterfall after heavy rains and severe thunderstorms, as flash floods can occur. While you’re there, consider cliff jumping as well for another thrilling activity you can do.

Museum Hopping

Museum

Visit these museums to relax or learn something new about our rich past. We’re confident that both children and adults will appreciate this exercise.

Filipino Dining

Filipino-Food

Why not take your taste buds on a tour of the Philippines? Cook some scrumptious Filipino dishes with your family and friends at home. Pancit Batil Patung from Cagayan, Empanada from Vigan, Lucban Longanisa and Pancit Habhab from Quezon, Halang-halang from Iligan City, Pancit Cabagan from Isabela, and many more. Take a culinary journey through the Philippines and sample a wide range of delectable foods. It is undeniably entertaining.

Hotel Staycation

Hotel

Rainstorms might linger for several days, making outside activities impossible. Why not treat yourself to a “staycation” at a local hotel or resort? This is a wonderful way to relax your mind and body while enjoying the cold weather, the food, and, of course, the hotel or resort’s amenities.

Try Wakeboarding

Wakeboarding

Wakeboarding is one of the Philippines’ fastest-growing watersports. In the Philippines, there are several places where you may go wakeboarding. Camsur Watersports Complex in Camarines Sur, Siargao Wakepark in Siargao Island, Republ1c Wakepark in Sta Rosa Laguna, Lago de Oro in Calatagan Batangas, Deca Wakeboard Park in Davao City, or Clark Wakeboard Park in Pampanga are some of the places where you may go wakeboarding. At the various wakeboarding facilities across the country, get soaked and have an adrenaline-pumping ride.

Tubing / Kayaking / Whitewater Rafting

Tubing

The rainy season provides greater rapids and higher water levels. Water activities such as rafting, kayaking, and tubing are just a few of the adrenaline-pumping things you should attempt this season. Simply be cautious when there is heavy rain and the risk of flash flooding. Visit the adventure capital of the Philippines, Cagayan de Oro, and go on your whitewater rafting adventure.

Bungee Jumping

Another fun activity you can do is to explore the extreme sport of bungee jumping. Want to feel like you’re flying (or falling depending on your outlook in life), going bungee jumping should be on your bucket list. The most prominent one is outside Metro Manila and is found in Bohol.

The rainy season is an opportunity for you to explore new avenues and try new things that you would usually avoid during other seasons of the year. After vacation, come home to your Italian-themed home. Italian-themed homes are a great way to bring the feeling of Italy into your home. They can be as simple or as elaborate as you want them to be. There are many ways you can use Italian colors and decorating styles in your own home. Here are some ideas:

  • Use a colorful kitchen with marble countertops, copper pots and pans, and terra cotta pottery for a Tuscan feel.
  • Hang pictures of the Italian countryside in frames on the wall for an authentic look.
  • Use old-fashioned cooking utensils like pasta bowls and colanders in your kitchen or living room area.
  • Hang an old fashioned rustic grapevine wreath on your front door

If you are looking for rustic designs that are truly reminiscent of the beauty of the Italian countryside, you can schedule tripping to view what’s available in the last premium house and lot that is part of the 2,500 has CBD, Villar Land.

Look no further for those looking for a house and lot in Cavite. Ponticelli is the dream Italian community for you and your family.
