Carmel At Bacoor: Crown Asia Designs Old California Theme Community

By: Crown Asia

Carmel-By-The-Sea in California is well-known for its charming old American town ambiance and of course, for its mayor in the late eighties – Hollywood movie icon Clint Eastwood. It is a place that brings images of a good place to call home. It’s known to be populated by artists and writers who were attracted by the quaint air, the fantastic landscape of the sea, and the Old American structures which have made Carmel one of the Top 10 destinations in the U.S.

Only about 120 miles from San Francisco, it has kept its small-town community, and a 2011 census counted a population of only a little over 3,700.

That is the ambiance of a small town in northern California that inspired Crown Asia to design Carmel at Bacoor, Cavite as a small community with a thick air of familiarity and convenience features around it. That master plan soon came and was launched in 2008, backed by a developer like Crown Asia who has a long list of these communities around the country.

On a 1.7-hectare property along Aguinaldo Highway, Crown Asia has built houses and townhouses to house families who have moved up with their professional or entrepreneurial success.

Perhaps to keep the artists’ circle that lives in Carmel-by-the-Sea, the townhouses in Carmel at Bacoor are named after famous literary masters – Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Lewis, and Newberry. The construction of the Lewis and Newberry started only in June 2012, and by the end of the year, the first cluster will be ready to welcome new residents into the Carmel community.

The new Lewis and Newberry townhouses are three-story, three-bedroom townhouses with provision for a one-car garage, two toilet-and-baths, and a powder room. The Fitzgerald townhouses are bigger at 86 sqm. The Hemingway townhomes are two-story units with two bedrooms, two toilets and baths, and a one-car garage.

Single residential units are also available as the Calista and Marvela model houses. The Calista is an 86-sqm two-story model with two bedrooms, one toilet-and-bath, and a one-car garage. The Marvel model is a 67 sqm two-story model with two bedrooms, one toilet-and-bath, and a one-car garage.

The residents in the small community will be entertained by amenities that the developer is known for a multipurpose hall with a gym, swimming pool, and landscaped gardens.

Security will be monitored round-the-clock by roaming guards and at least two per game.

Residents of Carmel at Bacoor will find the conveniences of modern living close by. SM Bacoor, Robinsons Imus, and SM Mall of Asia are within easy driving distance. Schools like the St. Dominic Medical College, the School of St. Mark, and the International School of Hotel and Restaurant Management – are in the vicinity. For medical needs, there’s the Medical Center Imus and the St. Dominic Medical Center.

Carmel at Bacoor expects to gather professionals, a circle of artists, and of course, the sons and daughters of Cavite whose deep roots keep them close to home and the old town culture they have grown to love. It’s easy to understand why this development project of Crown Asia will soon complete its community. It is located in the middle of progressive Bacoor, just recently declared a city. And Bacoor is only 30 minutes from Manila, with routes that lead to the business and educational centers of Makati, Mandaluyong, and Quezon City, and Paranaque City, its next-door neighbor.

Crown Asia, a subsidiary of Vista Land, has built thousands of houses in the 17 years of its operation. The Carmel at Bacoor project reflects the developer’s vision to build comfortable and stylish homes that go beyond the basic requirements of shelter.

The developers’ projects are always well-located, for the community residents to enjoy the benefits of being close to the business, education, financial, and medical centers.

Among Crown Asia’s projects are the Italian-themed communities namely Amalfi, Citta Italia, Vita Toscana, in Cavite; Ponticelli in Daang Hari-Alabang, Fortezza in Cabuyao, Laguna. Its American-inspired communities are Marina Heights in Sucat Muntinlupa, Augustine Grove in Cavite, its pioneer project La Marea in San Pedro, Laguna, and lastly the Northern California-themed Carmel in Bacoor.

Each community reflects the theme through the architecture of the residential structures, the club, and the landscaped gardens.
