A Christmas Tradition In Crown Asia’s Valenza At Sta. Rosa

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Valenza in Sta. Rosa. Crown Asia, a subsidiary of Vista Land – the country’s largest homebuilder, has kicked off the holiday season by launching this year’s spectacular Christmas display, a whimsical rendition of Santa’s toy factory located by the Valenza community entrance. It has become a holiday tradition that Crown Asia set the trend in creating a grand Christmas display showcase in the Sta. Rosa, Laguna area, where residential, commercial, recreation, and business hubs thrive.
This year was made more special as the real estate developer went beyond the traditional Christmas display launch by having a more meaningful event. Crown Asia wanted to celebrate the holidays in such a way that shares their blessings and gives back to the community. Because of this, the concept of “Grant a Child’s Wish!” was born, an early Christmas gift giving to spread some holiday cheer to the children of the SOS Children’s Villages Manila; A nongovernment organization that provides long-term-based care (education, home and family) for abandoned, neglected and orphaned children.
A COMMUNITY EFFORT
The event was a heart-warming community effort wherein each child was paired with their “mommy or daddy” for that day represented by Valenza homeowners, Crown Asia officers, and partners. It was a day of fun games and jolly treats of ice cream and cotton candy for the kids. There was also the traditional gift-giving wherein their “mommy or daddy” granted simple wishes to make each child’s holiday season special.
The highlight of the night was when everyone was asked to gather by the main entrance of Valenza to see the unveiling of the vibrant and majestic Christmas display themed, Santa’s toy factory. This actually became the stage for a holiday play with a heart-warming storyline revolving on children unknowingly helping Father Christmas himself. It was a charming spectacle of choir singing, dancing elves, and toys. The evening ended with the lighting of the giant Christmas tree against the backdrop of a colorful fireworks display.
“We are doing this activity to showcase our community in Sta. Rosa, Laguna made more beautiful by our Grand Christmas Display themed as Santa’s Toy Factory, which the kids and kids at heart will surely enjoy.” said Crown Asia COO Mary Lee Sadiasa, who led the lighting of the giant Christmas tree with Vista Land Chairman, Mr. Manny Villar. Together they also distributed gift bags to the kids of the SOS Children’s Villages. Sadiasa continued, “We wanted to make the start of our holiday celebration more meaningful by giving the kids of SOS Philippines a sense of home and family. We would also like to invite everyone to see our Christmas display here in Valenza, Crown Asia’s premier development in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.”
