Facts about FIFA World Cup

World-Cup-football

Brazil’s hegemony commences to wane.

Although being the most dominant country in World Cup history, Brazil’s national squad has underperformed in previous editions. Although having superstars like Neymar and Philippe Coutinho, the Brazilians were eliminated in the quarter-finals by Belgium in 2018. The Brazilian squad had great expectations for their hometown World Cup in 2014, and they appeared to be set for victory when they advanced to the semi-finals. Unfortunately, during one of the most famous World Cup games in history, the host team was knocked out by the Germans, who defeated them 7-1 before going on to win the title versus Argentina in the 2014 championship.

World Cup attendees all throughout the years.

The inaugural World Cup, hosted in Uruguay in 1930, was completed by 13 countries and featured 18 matches. The involvement of different teams increased until 1982, when it reached 24, with a maximum of 52 games contested. In France in 1998, 32 teams from 5 coalitions advanced to the finals and played a grand total of 64 games, giving the event its present structure. At the 2014 World Cup, the overall amount of goals in each match was 2.7, up from 2.23 at the preceding World Cup in South Africa in 2010. The greatest ratio was obtained in 1954 in Switzerland when 5.38 goals were conceded per match. The world cup will surely be a spectacle to watch and what better way to do so, if not in person, to watch with your family and friends in an RFO House and Lot here in the south.

Qatar stadiums

Six of the eight venues for the games will hold roughly 40 thousand spectators. With a population of almost 80,000 people, the Lusail Stadium in Lusail City, which will host the World Cup Finals, is the largest of the eight sites.

Another interesting fact about the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Doha is that it will be contested in the fewest venues ever since Argentina held the competition in 1978 with only eight venues. The eight world cup stadiums by the host country are Al Bayt Stadium, Khalifa International Stadium, Al Janoub Stadium, Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium, Khalifa International Stadium, Education City Stadium, Stadium 974, and Al Thumama Stadium. In the wake of FIFA 2022, Qatar is investing an estimated $200 billion USD in infrastructure improvements, which is astonishing in and of itself. In fact, roughly 70,000 exterior lighting will be installed as a step of the development, and 84,000 tons of steel will be used for infrastructure projects. Because Qatar is known for its great hospitality and amenities, the venues are being built to deliver the finest in class entertainment options as well as a one-of-a-kind game experience.

Safety

When a famous tournament like the World Cup occurs, security remains a primary priority in any nation. Furthermore, Qatar is one of the friendliest nations in the world to visit today, with one of the smallest crime rates in the globe. So much so that visitors may wander about at night and explore any secluded location without worry. The rules of our nation have been set up in such a way that individuals are expected to act modestly in public areas. In terms of violent crimes, such incidents are uncommon in Qatar, and natural calamities are not a concern. You can travel to Qatar from your Crown Asia RFO House and Lot easily as some of their properties are located near the airport.

The boycott issue

The joy in many nations indicates that the nearer the championship approaches, the more difficult it will be for those who have long criticized the World Cup in Qatar to be understood. The concerns in the Western countries, for instance, go as far as asking for a full cancellation, with banners to that purpose often placed in stadiums. According to ‘Boycott Qatar,’ a fan organization established in Germany, the 2022 World Cup is “a championship undeserving of football.”

Organizations and athletes are more focused on the competition, but the World Cup in Qatar has become far more than a competition for several football supporters. There are a lot of people who have decided. Qatar wishes to make the greatest possible impression during the World Cup. Several enthusiasts and professionals, on the other hand, see this as nothing more than sports washing, a means of diverting attention away from problems via the idealized prism of sport.
